Needle holders are used to hold a suturing needle during suturing and surgical procedures. This is a pre-owned dental instrument in excellent clinical condition and was taken from a working practice. It is normal to find carbon deposits on these instruments. They do not interfere with use.
The instrument has been ultrasonically cleaned but NOT autoclaved. Follow standard sterilizing procedures before using this instrument and inspect the instrument thoroughly.
