This rare antique Ernemann HEAG VI Tropen (Tropical) 9x12cm folding plate camera is Teak wood with brass fittings. It comes with a Carl Zeiss Jena Protarlinse VII 29cm (290mm) f/7.2 lens. It does not come with its original lens board. Its focal plane shutter is not working and it is missing its viewfinder. There are a few scuffs, scratches, and light discoloration on its exterior. Its bellows are light tight and all movements are smooth. The lens has a light haze but is free of any fungus or separation to its elements. The shutter hangs open at slow speeds, but fast speeds sound correct. The numbers are worn off of its speed selector.
