This near-mint condition Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Tessar 50mm f/2.8 manual focus lens is for use with M42 screw mount cameras and adapters. The only thing holding it back from being mint are a couple of very light scuffs on the exterior of the barrel. Its focus and aperture adjustments are both smooth and its glass is exceptional with no fungus, haze, or separation to its elements.
