This 1940's Fireman fire photo is of a 3-alarm fire that burned 17 row homes on the 2100 block of Watson St in Philadelphia. The fire started at 2110 Watson St where a mother and 3 children died on the second floor of their home. It was taken on February 25, 1948 at 1:15 am. The photo itself is 11'' x 14''. It is a black and white photo with a beautiful light sepia tone. It was part of a fire fighter related photo book which contained photos from the area of Philadelphia and South New Jersey.
