This WWI era Eastman Kodak Folmer & Schwing division F&S Aero Camera Model A 4x5 large format aerial camera is possibly the only one of it's kind. According to Ken Metcalf from graflex.org: "In my opinion, it is an early and pretty rare Model A. Also, I believe it was used, and probably caused the A-1 to be developed." It is the only known Model A with a trigger-activated lens hood and cover. The matching leather cover indicates that it was made by F&S. This exact camera (note the photo with the masking tape) is pictured in the following journal https://journal.graflex.org/journal-2018-02.pdf. It has a Bausch & Lomb Tessar Series I 6 ½ x 8½" lens. It comes with a bag mag. The camera is missing its viewfinder and has a few scuffs and scratches on its exterior. There is also finish loss on its metal parts. Its shutter fabric is not dried out. The lens has a very light haze and minor separation around the outer perimeter of the rear grouping. It is free of any fungus. The camera functions properly, including the shutter.
