This scarce C.C. Harrison 12'' double whole plate internal iris brass Petzval lens is 8'' long without its hood. Its front element grouping is 4 3/8'' and its rear is 4 1/2''. Its mounting plate is 7 1/4''. There are scuffs and discoloration on its exterior. Its aperture blades have deteriorated and are falling apart. The lens is missing its aperture adjustment knob. If you put something in the opening you can move what's left of the blades a little. There are a couple of light fungus spots and a light haze in its rear element grouping. Its front grouping has a small chip in its side (please see photos). Aside from that it is clean, clear, and free of any fungus, haze, or separation. Its focus adjustment is smooth. There are dents and nicks in the element housings. Please be careful if you are the lucky new owner and decide to unscrew the hood or elements. The threads are VERY tricky, and it is easy to cross-thread them.
