This scarce C.C. Harrison 12'' double whole plate internal iris brass Petzval lens is 8'' long without its hood. Its front element grouping is 4 3/8'' and its rear is 4 1/2''. Its mounting plate is 7 1/4''. There are scuffs and discoloration on its exterior. Its aperture blades have deteriorated and are falling apart. The lens is missing its aperture adjustment knob. If you put something in the opening you can move what's left of the blades a little. There are a couple of light fungus spots and a light haze in its rear element grouping. Its front grouping has a small chip in its side (please see photos). Aside from that it is clean, clear, and free of any fungus, haze, or separation. Its focus adjustment is smooth. There are dents and nicks in the element housings. We removed the front section to clean it, but could not get it back together. We are confident that a little more patience will do the trick. Please be careful if you are the lucky new owner. The element grouping will be removed, marked, and wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping.
