This scarce antique, circa 1862 brass-bound ANC ne Mon Jamin Darlot Sr. Paris 12" (305mm) rack and pinion focus petzval lens comes with a 3½" Waterhouse stop marked 60. Its mounting ring is also included, and its rear thread diameter is 100mm. The lens is 8'' long overall (including hood), and is 4'' wide. There is a screw missing from its rack and pinion mount (please see photos). Its focus is smooth. Its glass is exceptional with no fungus, haze, or separation to its elements.
