This 1st edition circa 1885 Scovill Satchel Detective 4x5'' large format camera comes with a brass R & J Beck 5x4 Rect 7'' focus lens, a full set of Waterhouse-style stops, and 3 film holders. Both shutter strings are broken and need to be replaced. Please see photos. The shutter does function but tends to stick. The bellows are light tight and all adjustments are smooth. The lens has a light haze but is free of any fungus or separation to its elements.
