This very rare non-telescoping Leica Leitz Elmar 3.5cm (35mm) f/3.5 wide angle lens comes with both of its caps. It is for use with LTM L39 M39 screw mount cameras and adapters. It is serial number 297782, and it was made in 1936. There is the haze inside of it typical to Elmars of this age. It still takes amazing photos (please see sample photo, the photo was shot at f/3.5), but would benefit from a CLA. There are also a couple of light scuff marks on its mount. Its focus and aperture adjustments are both smooth and its glass is free of any fungus or separation to its elements. There is no oil on its aperture blades.
