Kodak made S mount lenses from 1948-1961, but only in ALUMINUM. So imagine our surprise when a fellow seller and cine lens expert told me that this lens was likely a prototype and is potentially one of a kind. This lens has a brass body with black paint. You could use this 76mm f/4.5 cine lens on any S mount camera or with an adapter on many other cameras, but you will probably want to put it into your rare Kodak collection. There are a few scuff marks and some finish loss on the barrel's exterior. Its focus and aperture adjustments are both smooth and its glass is excellent with no fungus, haze, or separation to its elements. This is a great find for the collector of rare Kodak lenses or any cinema historian.
