This rare camera was identified by two experts as two completely different cameras. One called it a 35mm animation camera Crass Trickfilmkamera from Crass, Berlin. He said that this camera is not labeled as being made by Crass, but he believes it was. The other expert called this a German made timer/speed camera - used to capture horse, foot or car races. Regardless, it is clearly missing parts needed to work, including: 1) The electric motor and 2) The film canisters that went on top. We are selling this "as-is" because we have no idea how to test it. It's amazing just as a conversation piece for your collection and, with some work, could be a great project!
