Taylor, superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. According to the original AP caption, the trophy was awarded annually to the outgoing football captain, while Cadet Glenn Davis received a similar award. Photograph and separate original AP caption are mounted on the same piece of black archival paper with period tape and corner mounts.
