Original 1947 AP wire photo showing thirteen-year-old William Josefson recounting how he and his friend, thirteen-year-old Stewart Horn, were rescued by an airplane after their rubber life raft drifted too far into Lake Michigan. Josefson tells the story to assembled neighbors and friends while his four-year-old brother, Bobby, listens. The caption is separate from the photograph, with both mounted on the same piece of paper.
