According to the caption, the Grand and Missouri Rivers overflowed their banks, creating an enormous flood plain approximately two miles across and inundating surrounding farmland. The Grand River channel is visible in the foreground, while an arrow identifies the Missouri River channel in the distance. The caption is separate from the photograph and remains attached along the bottom with tape. Please note tape on the corners and age-related wear. Measures approximately 6½ x 6¼ inches.
