Original 1947 AP wire photo showing a packed and visibly angry Philadelphia courtroom during the hearing of Bernard Mullen. Four-year-old Dorothy Doyle is shown answering questions from Assistant District Attorney Stephen Potok. Mullen was held on charges of enticing the child into a vacant house for an immoral purpose and assault and battery. The caption is separate from the photo, with both mounted on the same piece of black archival paper. Overall size measures approximately 8¼ by 9 inches. Vintage tape, corner wear, creasing, and surface wear are present. From the archive of a Pittsburgh-area newspaper. Please review the photos carefully for condition.
