The presidential party was returning from Rio de Janeiro. Admiral William D. Leahy stands beside Truman. The separate caption and photo are mounted together on black archival paper. The overall mounted piece measures approximately 7¼x6½ inches. Note the tape on the corners, areas of emulsion loss and typical newsroom/archive wear. Came from the archive of a Pittsburgh-area newspaper.
