Image detail is sharp, but significant wipe marks run throughout the portrait and background, with numerous scratches and circular spots. Professionally resealed. Gold-tone textured mat has a shaped rectangular opening with curved corners and notched sides, plus dark and blue-green discoloration, strongest at top and bottom. Preserver has embossed diagonal leaf decoration. Half wood/composite case features roses, buds and leafy stems within a scalloped panel and textured borders. Case has peeling covering, edge losses and exposed wood. Photo does not sit firmly in the case.
