This sale showcases an original antique 1860s stereoview Albumen photo card (7x4¼") from the North Wales Illustrated series by Francis Bedford, a prominent 19th-century photographer active from 1853 to 1894. It features the Menai Suspension Bridge spanning the Menai Strait in Wales. Designed by Thomas Telford, it was the first major iron suspension bridge in the world, opening on January 30, 1826.
