This sale features an original antique 1865 stereoview Albumen photo card by photographer Alexander Gardner (6¾x3⅜"). It depicts the scene of the execution of the Lincoln assassination conspirators. The image captures the scaffold erected for the hanging of conspirators Mary Surratt, Lewis Powell, David Herold, and George Atzerodt at the Washington Arsenal on July 7, 1865.
