Included are two AP Wire Photos showing the eclipse and a separate newspaper display clipping titled "Moon In Motion" illustrating the moon's movement across the face of the sun. The captions note that American scientists were among the observers and that the eclipse lasted approximately three minutes and forty-eight seconds. These pieces came from a newspaper archive near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The three-panel eclipse photograph measures approximately 9" x 6", the single eclipse photograph measures approximately 6½" x 9¾", and the newspaper display clipping measures approximately 9½" x 4½".
