The image preserves Lincoln's handwriting and signature as reproduced for newspaper distribution. Original AP caption is printed directly along the bottom of the photograph. Period tape remains attached at the corners. Measures approximately 6⅜ x 8⅞ inches and shows expected age, surface wear and newsroom/archive handling.
