Original 1947 AP wire photo showing young actors Roddy McDowall and Dick Long comforting each other at a Santa Monica hospital after their automobile was involved in a head-on collision. McDowall suffered a cut above his left eye and other facial injuries, while Long sustained cuts and bruises. The caption is printed directly on the photo. Measures approximately 6⅛" × 8⅝".
