This display commemorates the death and funeral of legendary New York City Mayor Fiorello H. "The Little Flower" La Guardia. It includes three original AP Wire Photos documenting mourners paying their respects, the funeral procession from the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and the flower-covered casket. Also included are several contemporary newspaper photo clippings and feature articles highlighting La Guardia's life, public service, and legacy, including images from his years as mayor.
