According to the original caption, Mauch was tagged out by Dodgers third baseman Johnny Jorgensen on Cully Rickard's first-inning single, with umpire Bill Stewart making the call. The overall mounted piece measures approximately 15¼" x 10½". The original AP caption remains attached beneath the photograph.
