Original 1947 AP Wirephoto showing the wreckage of a passenger coach from the Southern Pacific Argonaut after derailment near Ontario, California, on April 28. According to the original caption, the train was derailed by a broken rail about four miles east of Ontario, with most of one side of the coach torn open in the crash.
