The original AP caption identifies the blaze as occurring in a five-story brick warehouse occupied by the Wade Iron Piping Company and the Harris Warehouse Company. The photograph is mounted on black archival paper with an overall size of approximately 10¼" x 13½". The mount is irregularly cut and shows edge wear, along with handling wear, corner wear, and creasing consistent with age and newspaper use.
