The attached AP caption identifies Odom waving to spectators in Chicago's Loop district while accompanied by his wife and Milton Reynolds, backer of the famous "Reynolds Bombshell" aircraft. Odom's flight attracted international attention after breaking existing around-the-world solo flying records. Measures approximately 9⅛" x 6½". This photograph originated from a large newspaper archive assembled and retained by a Pennsylvania newspaper near Pittsburgh. Original AP caption remains attached.
