According to the separate original caption, the wreck killed four people and injured 35 others. The photograph shows workers and investigators examining the badly damaged side of the passenger coach after the accident. The separate caption is taped directly onto the bottom of the photograph. Measures approximately 7⅜x6¼ inches. Note the aged tape along the bottom edge and typical newsroom/archive handling wear. This photo came from the archive of a Pittsburgh area newspaper.
