Duffield of Woodbury, New Jersey, died at the controls when the locomotive overturned while bringing a train into Philadelphia from Cape May. The caption also references the previous night's suburban train collision nearby that killed a motorman and injured about 20 others. Separate original caption accompanies the photograph.
